Introduction to World War II Tabletop Miniature Gaming

Create your own army! Work with son to assemble and paint the miniature figurines!

Play together, create your battle strategy!

Part 1: Learn to assemble and paint table top miniatures

Participants will be given 4 miniatures and taught the basics of assembling and painting the miniatures used for table-top gaming

Paints, brushes and all required assembly material will be provided.

 

Part 2: Introduction to WWII Table-top gaming

Participants will use the models they have assembled and painted in an introductory game.

They will learn about unit movement, line-of-sight, range, shooting, damage, and other basics of table-top gaming.

***Due to nature of this activity (painting small figurine, and physical gaming rules), this is suitable for sons in upper primary and secondary school.

The Staff Resource Room is located in the new PERI Building at CHS. You can find it by crossing the Secondary School Canteen.  The room is on the same level.  It can seat

can seat approximately 100 pax and has audio/visual facilities.
